She joined the company in 2021 and spent a year as a member of the editorial board writing about California politics, policy and power. Before joining The Times, Rosenhall covered state politics for CalMatters and the Sacramento Bee. A lifelong Californian, she grew up in San Francisco and graduated from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
